David Toczko is the photographer behind Lone Dakota Photography. David's interest in photography began in 1985 and has grown from a passionate hobby to a successful career as a freelance, commercial photographer. His work is internationally published and has been acclaimed for its richness and depth of color, texture and clarity. His artistic vision is to create photographs with both visual and emotional impact. Recent efforts are focused in his signature style of low light / natural light which adds a dimension not always found in the studio while maintaining a high degree of technical excellence. David utilizes Canon professional cameras and lenses exclusively. All images are shot in RAW mode and processed with industry leading software to achieve the look and feel for which he is recognized.
Available for a variety of assignments ranging from commercial photography to commissioned work, David brings the same passion for perfection to all his assignments. His recently released book, "Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill: 50th Anniversary of the Restoration" is a 200 page pictorial walking tour of the largest restored Shaker community in existence.
Fine art prints of his work and books are available for sale. Interested collectors should contact the artist directly at dakota@lonedakota.comm
